Armond Kotikian, DDS, MD, FACS is a board certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons with extensive experience as an expert witness in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Dentistry. He has been an expert witness on over 170 personal injury and malpractice cases, given depositions on over 70 cases and testified at court over the past twelve years. He practices a broad aspect of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. In the clinical setting he performs complicated tooth extraction cases, dental implant surgery and bone grafting cases, treats TMJ patients, offers IV(intravenous anesthesia/general anesthesia) and treats a variety of oral tumors. In the hospital setting he treats head and neck infection cases, facial trauma patients, orthognathic (corrective jaw surgery) surgery cases and treats larger Oral and Maxillofacial Tumors. Dr. Kotikian is focused on patient care. He has been retained on nerve injury cases, wrong tooth extraction cases, wrongful death/anesthesia complications, dental implant complications, bone grafting complications, head and neck infection cases, misdiagnosed pathology, jaw fracture due to tooth extraction cases, wisdom tooth/wisdom teeth complications, TMJ(temporomandibular joint) cases, all facial(mandible, nasal, orbit, frontal bone, ZMC, zygomatico-maxillary complex) fractures and lacerations to the face, orthognathic surgery(corrective jaw surgery) and all aspects of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He routinely lectures on subjects related to his field at both the local and national level on a regular basis.
