Architecture, Construction and Premises Safety Expert
Catherine Peterman, AIA, NCARB, is a licensed architect whose previous clients include government agencies, private corporations, and retail companies. She is a degreed and licensed architect in multiple states across the Midwest and is board certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). She is an expert in matters related to building codes and standards, accessibility requirements, construction claims, A/E professional liability issues, and premises safety.
In the course of her professional career, Catherine has provided technical analysis and supervision in all phases of building design and construction. She has performed cost estimating, construction document preparation, and construction administration and management. She has evaluated the work of designers and builders for conformance with the applicable standard of care, and inspected building materials for signs of wear or decay.
Catherine is a certified user of the English XL slip tester, a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the International Code Council (ICC), and ASTM International (formerly American Society for Testing Materials).
