Introduction

Board-certified Neurosurgeon, orthopedic-neurosurgery Spine Fellowship trained: I am an actively practicing spine focused neurosurgeon who takes general neurosurgery call at a level 4 trauma center (low trauma). I was trained in a level 1 trauma center and spinal cord injury center of excellence, and have taken call as an attending at a level 2 trauma center. I am comfortable handling cases involving trauma, MVC cases, LNI cases and other degenerative or perioperative challenges patients may face. While I do operate on brain tumors from time to time, it is not my special focus. I am comfortable discussing ventriculoperitoneal shunts. I am not comfortable handling cases involving peripheral nerve trauma/injury nor vascular neurosurgery cases (with few exceptions). I act with integrity and efficiency. I am open to feedback and discussing the needs of the client and case at hand.
