I have 24 years of experience as a toxicologist in the pharmaceutical, bio-agricultural, consumer goods (tobacco, nicotine, industrial enzymes), biofuels, medical devices (sutures, surgical mesh, tampons), and petroleum industries. My formal training includes research in drugs of abuse, specifically opiates and cannabis, and I have continued to follow the growth of cannabis use and legal challenges.    

As a representative of industry consortia, on behalf of my organization, I have consistently demonstrated my initiative and resourcefulness by identifying and monitoring external CROs for in vivo and in vitro studies. This approach has consistently supported regulatory applications and the objectives of consortia, for whom I also acted as a study monitor and representative.
