Dr. Borovik is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck surgery. Dr. Borovik earned a degree in electrical engineering with work experience in the biomedical design field. He received his Medical Degree from the Chicago Medical School and completed with honors a Residency in Otolaryngology Head and Neck surgery at St. Louis University. Dr. Borovik’s clinical career has spanned over 35 years and involved starting and running a private practice Otolaryngology Corporation. He has been involved in clinical care, practice management, technology in healthcare, medical legal and expert witness review, professional physician performance review, teaching, education and consulting for many drug and device manufacturers. He has also worked for the FDA as a clinical Otolaryngology reviewer and has been involved in the standard of care and development of technology and regulation in medicine and Otolaryngology. This has included applications of Artificial intelligence in medicine, gene therapy, Covid applications, public health and the application of many cutting-edge technologies applied to medicine.
