John Cafaro, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Cooper Medical School at Rowan University (CMSRU). He currently serves as the Emergency Medicine Clerkship Director. Dr. Cafaro graduated from Rutgers University summa cum laude in 2011. He received his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 2016. He completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Cooper University Hospital where he was recognized as the Emergency Department’s Outstanding Resident of the Year. Dr. Cafaro has received other distinctions such as the emergency department’s “Teaching Attending of the Year”, and Cooper Medical School’s “Golden Apple Award”.
