San Antonio (Tampa), FL 33576
Office: 813-624-8986
Dr. Lloyd holds a PhD in Human Factors (Ergonomics), with specialization in Injury Biomechanics. He is a distinguished authority in motorcycle accident reconstruction, injury biomechanics and human factors analysis, with decades of testifying experience. As a motorcyclist with more than 40 years of riding and advanced training, his understanding of the unique dynamics involved in motorcycle crashes sets him apart as a true specialist in the field.
With a unique background that encompasses 20 years of federally-funded grant research in injury biomechanics, academic training in human factors and certifications in accident reconstruction, Dr. Lloyd's qualification have been widely accepted to address the many facets of motorcycle crashes, automobile and trucking collisions, as well as bicycle, e-bike and scooter accidents, including crash reconstruction, occupant kinematics and injury severity, as well as perception response and distracted driving issues.
Typical cases include motorcycle crashes, automobile collisions, trucking accidents, head and brain injury, sports and motorcycle helmets. John has served on more than 500 cases, retained almost equally by plaintiff and defense counsel, and has testified on more than 170 occasions.
To date Dr. Lloyd has published 33 peer-reviewed journal articles, 6 book chapters and has presented at more than 100 national and international conferences.
