Introduction

Dr. Lisa Rohe is an experienced clinical psychologist with over 24 years of expertise in working with adolescents and young adults. She specializes in guiding individuals through critical developmental transitions, including child-to-teen and teen-to-adult adjustments. Her therapeutic approach integrates cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based practices, fostering a gentle, intuitive, and collaborative environment tailored to each client's needs​.

Dr. Rohe has maintained a private practice in Santa Rosa, California, since 2010, providing individual and family therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Dialectical Behavioral Skills Training​. Prior to her private practice, she held multiple roles in child and family services, including serving as a Program Director for TLC Child and Family Services' THPP/THP-Plus Program. In this role, she supervised counseling interns, managed licensing and crisis issues, and provided consultation to external agencies. She also worked as a foster family and adoption agency social worker, a therapist for emotionally troubled adolescents, and a drug and alcohol counselor in community schools​.

Dr. Rohe holds a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) and a Master’s degree in Psychology from Meridian University, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Humboldt State University​. She is a longstanding member of the American Psychological Association and the Redwood Psychological Association​.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Rohe has contributed to professional education and community initiatives. She has served as a guest speaker at Sonoma State University, participated in the Sonoma County Homeless Youth Taskforce, and been a panelist for foster youth housing discussions at Santa Rosa Junior College and CASA. She has also collaborated with the John Burton Foundation on harm reduction and transitional housing programs​.
Dr. Rohe is dedicated to helping teens and young adults navigate life's challenges with a compassionate and evidence-based approach.
