Introduction

Lucas A. Klein, Ph.D. is a Licensed Psychologist in California, New York, Connecticut, and Oregon. He is also a formally trained Psychoanalyst.
Dr. Klein has extensive experience in psychological testing. He has been a member of the assessment team in the California Dept. of Corrections, and has conducted hundreds of assessments in his practice for a variety of purposes. He has been a contractor to the federal government for the assessment of PTSD, and has been a friend of the Superior Court of California in Juvenile Forensics. Dr. Klein has worked with several well known attorneys in San Diego, CA on civil cases where trauma and other psychological markers are an integral part of the injury claim. He is a proficient public speaker, which makes him able to manage the pressure of being on the stand.
Dr. Klein would prefer to have a meeting or a phone call prior to working together in order to determine whether there is a fit between the attorney and the expert. He finds that spending time at the beginning of a working relationship determining expectations and differences can prevent unnecessary complications.
