Mr. LaRosa spent over 28 years with the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) involved in all facets of violent crime. His breadth of experience included a full spectrum of examining violent offenders and working complex crime scenes.

Mr. LaRosa is a certified behavioral profiler well versed in all aspects of offender cognitive processes and behavior. A skilled trainer, Mr. LaRosa has instructed throughout the entire state of South Carolina to a wide array of audiences.

Provided hands-on instruction, seminars, real world table top exercises over the course of 25 years on a variety of topics such as crime scene reconstruction, hostage negotiating, threat assessment/threat management, developing threat assessment groups, criminal investigative analysis (colloquially known as profiling), and proper interview techniques.

In addition, Mr. LaRosa is a sought-after instructor in all areas of criminal profiling and currently teaches Profiling the Violent Crime Scene at Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, North Carolina.
