Dr. Lynch is a double board-certified and fellowship-trained pain management physician and anesthesiologist, with 17 years’ experience treating all types of chronic pain conditions. Throughout his career, Dr. Lynch has been focused on providing comprehensive and evidenced-based treatment, with vigilant attention to the standard of care and best practices. He has managed pain practices in 15 different states and is currently licensed to practice in 7 states. Dr. Lynch continues to actively see patients in a clinical setting and perform interventional pain management procedures, including performing independent medical examinations.
Dr. Lynch is also focused on research and the advancement of chronic pain treatment, publishing over 30 journal articles relevant to pain management, specifically regarding the use of interventional procedures and practice of comprehensive pain management with responsible opioid prescribing. He has taught extensively across the country to other physicians and federal agencies regarding the same topics, including teaching for the Drug Enforcement Agency regarding the appropriate prescribing of opioids.
Regarding his expert witness work, Dr. Lynch has been performing legal reviews and providing deposition testimony since 2010, with involvement in over 100 cases. His work includes providing testimony for both plaintiff and defense clients, in an array of complex pain management and anesthesia cases, including interventional procedure complications, procedure anesthesia complications, complex medical conditions including chronic regional pain syndrome, and inappropriate prescribing of opioids and other controlled substances. Dr. Lynch also has experience defending physicians in challenging wrongful death cases. His opinions are highly sought after, given his extensive training, experience, and commitment to the field of pain management.
