Introduction

I am a Canadian and US board-certified pediatric neurosurgeon with many years of experience working in a thriving general neurosurgical practice. Additionally, I have specific expertise in epilepsy surgery, working as a functional neurosurgeon in a busy Level IV epilepsy center. I held various leadership roles within the hospital and as the principal investigator of numerous single and multi-center clinical trials. I am considered a nationally renowned expert in pediatric neurosurgery. I am a member of the AANS, CNS, AES, and ACS. Additionally, I am very active in academic neurosurgery and have written over 60 peer-reviewed publications, given over 40 national and international presentations (frequently as keynote speaker), won numerous awards for my academic research, and served on multiple boards and leadership panels within academic neurosurgery.

I combine a thorough understanding of neurosurgery with an analytical mind and evaluate cases meticulously. I have served as a medicolegal expert witness in multiple cases in the past, and can draw on a vast amount of experience. I am capable of articulating complex medical concepts clearly and effectively. My medicolegal advice and testimonies are grounded in evidence-based medicine, making me a credible resource. I am up-to-date in evidence-based medicine, knowledgeable, and professional. These traits have solidified my status as a trusted expert in both the medical and legal communities.
