Introduction

Steven Oakes, Ph.D., delivers scientific analysis of drug-related cases. Dr. Oakes is a pharmacologist, knowledgeable toxicologist and an experienced witness. He has delivered written analysis in more than 150 cases in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois and Virginia. These analyses include DUI/OWI review, analysis of testing procedures, retrograde analysis, review of drug interactions and more. The majority of cases were dismissed or settled based on his written analysis alone. Dr. Oakes testified in one-third of those cases. A majority of these resulted in positive findings for the client.
