Introduction

I am a retired Sergeant with the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office. I have over 30 years of law enforcement experience. I'm currently providing consulting and expert witness services, instructor with Robert Presley's Institute of Criminal Investigations, and working cold case homicide investigations as a retired annuitant at the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office. My areas of expertise are: Criminal Investigation Analysis, Police Practices & Procedures, Officer Involved Shooting Investigations, Crime Scene Management, Interview & Interrogation Techniques, 4th Amendment Issues including Search & Arrest Warrants, Probable Cause Analysis, & Wrongful Arrest/Conviction Analysis.

Major Crime Scene Management, Homicide Investigations, Criminal Investigative Practices, Cellular Phone Forensic Analysis, Officer Involved Shooting Investigations, In-Custody Deaths, Interview & Interrogation Techniques (both Reid and Science Based), and other in-depth investigations, including Conspiracy, Robbery, Missing Persons, Kidnapping, Murder for Hire, Gang Related Crimes, and Narcotics charges. I spent 20 years of my career in Investigations including 6 years in Gangs & Narcotics and 14 years in the Homicide Bureau, including 3 years as the Homicide Bureau Supervisor.

A: Site visit is $300/hr (3 hour minimum) Travel is $100/hr--point to point. Mileage charged at the current IRS rate. Airfare booked at an unrestricted coach fare. Parking/tolls, rental care/commercial ground transportation charged to client.
