Introduction

Vince Vittatoe, CPP, CSC, CPTED, is the Principal/CEO at Vittatoe Consulting, LLC, independent security management and forensic consulting practice focused on providing clients security and loss prevention expertise to help protect their employees and customers.

With over 35 years of combined law enforcement, corporate safety, security, and loss prevention experience, and consulting experience, we offer our clients direction and advice from our experience in both the public and private sectors.

After college, Vince worked for State Farm Insurance as an accounting supervisor before joining the Dallas Police Department in 1988, serving as a police officer and divisional defensive tactics instructor. Upon returning to the private sector, Vince entered the hospitality industry and gained operations experience as an Area Manager for Motel 6, responsible for twelve motels. Next, Vince moved to the corporate office of Accor North America as the Director-Safety & Security. Vince held safety, security, and loss prevention roles over the next 19 years while providing leadership and support to corporate and operations teams. The companies supported include Red Roof Inns, Bob Evans Restaurants & Mimi’s Cafes, La Quinta Inns & Suites, and G6 Hospitality. Experience includes conducting security/risk assessments, premises liability reviews, emergency operations planning, policy and procedure reviews, crime and threat analysis, general liability consulting, OSHA reviews and responses, and training for company staff members.

Areas supported include but are not limited to hospitality, restaurants, multi-family housing, and commercial properties.

Board-Certified in security management as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP), ASIS International, a Certified Security Consultant (CSC) IAPSC, International Association of Professional Security Consultants, and CPTED Practitioner, we assist both Plaintiff and Defense counsel with litigation and expert witness services in the areas of Premises Liability, Negligent/Inadequate Security, and Crime Foreseeability.
